Michael Reilly, PhDAssistant Professor
Dr. Michael Reilly is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology-Medical Physics at the University of California – Irvine. He has a strong interest in utilizing translational technology toward improving patient care. He has received NIH R21 funding as the Principal Investigator for his research in the area of holographic millimeter wave imaging to localize and monitor radiation oncology patients. Dr. Reilly has additionally presented and published multiple studies investigating radiation treatment and outcomes for patients undergoing radiation therapy. He has a strong interest in Treatment Planning Services, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Proton therapy systems, and special radiation therapy procedures. He recently served as the Chair of the ACR-ARS Practice Parameter writing committee for the Performance of Total Body Irradiation. Dr. Reilly further has a keen interest in the education of our future physicians and was the recipient of the 2020 award for Outstanding Service and Teaching Excellence in Radiation Oncology.
