Varun Sehgal, PhD
Varun Sehgal obtained is master's and doctoral degrees at the University of Florida followed by a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Sehgal currently serves as Professor and Director of the Medical Physics Division. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics and serves as faculty/mentor in the Radiation Oncology residency program. Dr. Sehgal is an active volunteer for the AAPM, ASTRO, ABR as well as the Southern California Chapter of the AAPM. His areas of interest include assessment and implementation of new technologies to enhance clinical workflows and process automation with a view to promoting quality, safety, and efficiency in clinical operations.
Dr. Reilly received his doctorate degree (Ph.D.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he studied Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering. He has held previous academic appointments at Washington University in Saint Louis (2016-2018) and the University of Southern California (2018-2022).
